Helping you communicate your message using integrated audio-visual technologies.

I have been in the AV industry for over 20 years. For most of that time I have been designing, installing, professional and commercial audio-visual equipment in Kentucky. I have worked with churches, schools, universities, corporations, museums, and convention centers to name a few. I have been able to help anyone who has needed a reliable AV system to communicate their message.

My work with churches has included designing, installing and integrating AV systems. This has included audio systems, video systems (both projection and recording) and lighting systems. I can help you determine the best use of your limited resources in designing a system that meets your budgetary needs without sacrificing quality. Each church is unique in both their needs and personality and the AV system needs to be customized to match.

I have worked with a number of schools and universities on classroom audio and video, auditorium/gym audio, video, and lighting, and on stadium audio. Each of these areas provides unique acoustic and visual challenges that only years of experience can over come. Often times these institutions go with the least expensive option with little to no input from end users of the equipment which can provide for a number of challenges. Every AV system should be designed around the end user and how they prefer to communicate their message. Poorly designed and inexpensive systems will always provide limitations to effective communication.

Corporate AV systems are some of the most subtle and complex systems in existence today. The CEO wants to walk into a the boardroom press a button and have the shades lower, the screen lower, the lights set to the appropriate level, the projector turn on and switch to the users laptop and then dial into the audio/video conferencing bridge. In these situations people do not want to worry about or fully interact with the AV system. It should be intuitive, easy to use, and able to communicate a message clearly with out distraction. This is all possible with modern control systems and networked AV systems. Acoustics and room designs provide great challenges to meeting these criteria, however a knowledgeable integrator can provide guidance and support in designing the best room possible.

Convention centers require deeply integrated and flexible systems that can used in a number of different ways through out the day and week. This includes but is not limited to room combining, floating mics, and sending video from any input to any screen. The infrastructure alone in a system of this nature can be mind-boggling. Once again the key is the needs of the customer, how they use the system and their expectations of how the system will perform. This information allows for a comprehensive system design to be created and implemented, meeting the customers needs.

All of the this is well and good, but where is the proof in the pudding you ask. Well if you follow this link you will see a number of installations I have either designed, installed, or both. I can also provide you with a list of references similar to your project.
