Naughton’s Nonsense

"May those who love us, love us.
For those who don't, may God turn their hearts.
And if he cannot turn their hearts.
May he turn their ankles
so we may know them by their limping."

-Irish Proverb (author unknown)

Well I have decided that everybody out there has all kinds of terrible pictures of concerts and events from their camera phones. So I decided to get in on the action and take some junky pictures with my camera phone from my unique vantage point: The “Front of House” console.

Camera: Motorola ic902 camera phone
Console: Mackie 24-4 VLZ Pro (blech)
Inputs: 11
EQ’s: Sabine GRQ
Amps: QSC PL1.6 & QSC PLX2 3602
Main Speakers: EAW LA460’s
Down Fills: EAW LA212’s
Monitors (4 mixes): EAW LA212’s & EAW Commercial VRM’s

As you can see the sound system was quite minimal and the input list was small, however the band had a very big and good sound. The concert was very entertaining and I would recommend everybody to go see it. I especially liked the sword dance. The show went off without a hitch and the entire cast and crew were wonderful. It is always great when my job allows me to see these kind of events.
