I'm a regular over at Chris D's "blog" (still getting use to that word). Anyway, just wanted to commend you on your poignant and thorough comments. Good job. I believe that we are extremely fortunate to have a president who isn't willing to allow our nation to "fall asleep" like the other nations of the world. Although I don't believe in the whole "global community" thing, I do believe that we should have a vested interest in the plight of other countries. Thank God for President Bush.
