Naughton’s Nonsense

Well I decided it was about time I blogged again. I have been so tired from work, family and life. My computer broke down a little over a month ago so I am currently eBaying like a mad man. I am trying to get rid of all my old computer hardware and software in order to make money and room for a new computer. So far that seems to be going well, just is time consuming. Despite the fact that my boss only wants me to work 40 hours a week I still manage to pull off about 45-50. Not complaining though, still better than 80. So now that it is that time of year again, the time when we Orthodox begin to pray and fast for the 40 days of Great Lent in preparation for The Paschal Tide, I thought it might be good to take a breathier and blog. This somehow feels cathartic in our hectic world. Just sitting here taking stock and putting out there for the world to see. Anyway I am in no way ready for 40 days of fasting and it is going to take a lot of prayer to get me through. But I think I might try to go for the gusto and do the complete fast this year. I will blog later on about what that entails, or, link to somebody else’s blog who has already explained much more eloquently than I could. Speaking of which I guess I should fix my link roll.
